Welcome to Your Labrador Agricultural Association

We're glad you're here...

If you are a farmer or grower in Labrador we are YOUR association.  The association was formed in 1999 by a group of forward thinking farmers, and this past March we elected a great executive team I am privileged to serve with who are dedicated to supporting you and growing food availability, accessibility, and security right across Labrador.

Many do not know that Labrador has some of the best and most expansive farmland in all of the Province.  I believe Labrador can one day be the "bread basket" of Newfoundland and Labrador, and the work I see from existing farmers, gardeners, growers, and entrepreneurs reinforces that view.

We've changed the name to reflect our renewed purpose and represent farmers and growers right across Labrador.  We also will be including the important voices of home gardeners, homesteaders, and those who work in and support the agricultural sector in Labrador.  We will be opening the applications for membership soon.  The most important benefit is the advocacy for your voice and concerns, but it won't end there.  From programs like a member affinity discounts, equipment rentals, to training, youth focused learning, social, sales and cooperative initiatives, you will get more than you expect from your membership as we grow the renewed association.

We are stronger together, and there is more than enough potential for every Labradorian and Labrador resident to benefit from.
